Hudson Landing is a roughly $1 billion, 1.3-million-square-foot twin-tower development planned on a state-owned parking lot along Twelfth Avenue between West 45th and West 46th Streets in Hell's Kitchen, directly across the West Side Highway from the USS Intrepid. Designed by FXCollaborative for a joint venture of The Gotham Organization, Fisher Brothers and MURAL Real Estate Group, the towers rise from a multistory podium and are joined by a recessed central volume that opens onto a landscaped terrace at their midpoint, reading as a single sculpted mass from the Hudson. The project delivers 1,127 homes, 338 of them permanently income-restricted across a wide band of area median income, with a further tranche offered as income-restricted condominiums for sale. Its civic centerpiece is the Intrepid Concourse, a roughly 22,000-square-foot extension of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum holding a visitor center, a STEM education hub and a cafe, connected to the museum campus by a pedestrian sky bridge over the highway and paired with a new public park on the site's western edge.
