The Omni Raleigh rises twenty-nine stories between the Raleigh Convention Center and the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts as the long-sought convention headquarters hotel that lets downtown chase large events it previously lost for lack of rooms. The nearly 600-key tower pairs a 20,000-square-foot ballroom and roughly 61,000 square feet of meeting space with a resort-caliber amenity deck: a rooftop pool with restaurant, a spa with hot and cold therapies, and a sports bar with an outdoor patio and golf simulator. Dining anchors include North Carolina's first Bob's Steak & Chop House and a street-level coffee shop, with marquee food-and-beverage spaces by Jeffrey Beers International. Fronting a reimagined plaza at the foot of Fayetteville Street, the hotel is the keystone of a broader convention-district revitalization tying together the expanded center, a relocated amphitheater, and an upgraded performing-arts campus.
