Designed by MGBA Architecture for Berts Real Estate, The Gaspar rises about 281 feet on a compact lot at North Jefferson and East Laurel streets, where downtown Tampa meets Tampa Heights. The tower pairs fiber cement panels, frosted glass and perforated metal screening with a vertical black steel spine that shades the facade and ties the composition together. Its 188 condominiums range from studios and one-bedrooms of roughly 400 to 600 square feet up to three- and four-bedroom homes, crowned by a 4,885-square-foot penthouse. Residents share a pool, fitness center, lounge and outdoor deck, while the podium holds a residential lobby, about 2,400 square feet of retail, about 5,300 square feet of office space and a fully automated parking system displayed behind glass curtain walls. Sales are handled by Anchor Real Estate, with pricing that opens the tower to buyers well below the downtown luxury tier.
