About the project

A 91-storey beachfront supertower is planned for 3 Trickett Street in Surfers Paradise, on a vacant Gold Coast site that already carries council approval for an 89-storey building. Brought forward by Altus Property Group, the roughly 1.5 billion dollar scheme pairs a 285-key luxury hotel with 272 branded residences above a three-level podium, an exclusive beach club, and thousands of square metres of premium retail, dining and commercial space. At around 335 metres it would become Australia's tallest building. A branding agreement with the Trump Organization, announced in February 2026, collapsed within three months, and Altus says it will relaunch the tower with a different luxury brand. No development application has yet been lodged.
