Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station is one of London's largest regeneration projects, rebuilding 42 acres of Thames-side land in Nine Elms around Giles Gilbert Scott's Grade II* listed power station and its four white chimneys, at Circus Road South with 2200 residences, under way since July 2013 and set to finish in 2030. Financed with $355.6M from CIMB in October 2026.

Led by the Battersea Power Station Development Company for a Malaysian consortium of Sime Darby Property, S P Setia and the Employees Provident Fund, the estate mixes more than 2,200 homes, roughly 800,000 square feet of offices and over 170 shops, bars, restaurants and leisure venues, served by its own Northern Line Underground station. WilkinsonEyre led the restoration of the power station, whose former turbine halls now hold shopping, dining and event space, while Foster + Partners and Gehry Partners designed the residential and commercial buildings of Electric Boulevard and Prospect Place around it, and Circus West Village by SimpsonHaugh and dRMM opened the riverside first phase. Studio Egret West is masterplanner, urban designer and landscape architect for the remaining 16 acres, replacing Rafael Vinoly's original framework with a finer grained plan of smaller building clusters linked by streets, lanes and courtyards.
