About the project

Halsted Pointe is a 46-story, roughly 500-foot mixed-use residential tower under construction at 931 North Halsted Street on the southeastern tip of Goose Island in Chicago. The first phase of a larger Onni redevelopment of a former Greyhound bus maintenance facility, the tower will hold 460 residential units across one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts, with 92 designated affordable. A five-story podium contains roughly 18,900 square feet of commercial retail space and 200 parking spaces, with amenities including a fitness center, wellness space, lounge and game room. The dual-tone glass tower features cantilevered and inset balconies. Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, construction began in April 2026 on an approximately 24-month timeline.
