Marielle on the Park is a 24-story luxury condominium tower planned for a long-vacant lot at 23 South Sangamon Street in Chicago's West Loop, directly across from Mary Bartelme Park. Developed by Fern Hill with Free Market Ventures and designed by Chicago firm Eckenhoff Saunders, the roughly 300-foot, approximately $150 million building holds 70 condominiums at no more than four homes per floor, wrapped in a stepped white masonry facade whose terraced upper levels give the penthouses private outdoor space. Residents get a ground-floor private dining lounge and wine club with cellar storage, a pool deck, fitness center and children's playroom, while the street level adds a corner cafe, a restaurant space, and public restrooms and storage serving the park.
