Paseo South Gulch

Paseo South Gulch is SomeraRoad's more than $1 billion, phased mixed-use development on roughly 2.6 acres at 620 8th Avenue South, in the node where Nashville's Gulch and Pie Town overlap. The master plan, shaped by ESa and Manuel Zeitlin Architects, weaves a cluster of new high-rises around two restored historic structures: the Bill Voorhees Company Building, updated with new systems and a glass rooftop addition atop roughly 58,000 square feet, and the former Downtown Antique Mall, an adaptive-reuse retail building. Phase one delivered Prima, a tower with 278 apartments and office space, which opened in 2025. A 30-story mixed-use tower brings the Pendry Nashville hotel and branded residences, with 180 keys, 146 condominiums, restaurants and a pool bar. A final phase is planned to add roughly 385,000 square feet of Class A office space and another residential tower of more than 400 units, alongside 18,000 square feet of office and 14,000 square feet of retail woven through the district's interconnected walkways and terraces. The name Paseo references those pedestrian promenades and the development's emphasis on outdoor programming and walkability.
