Raemian ReneAr Daechi is Samsung C&T's flagship redevelopment of the Daechi Ssangyong 1 apartment complex in Daechi-dong, the heart of Seoul's Gangnam district, designed with Studio Libeskind alongside SAMOO Architects & Engineers and HJ Design Partners. Six towers rising to a maximum of 49 storeys replace a low-rise 1980s estate with 999 homes across roughly 233,400 square metres of gross floor area, oriented to capture views toward Yangjae Stream, Tan Stream and Daemo Mountain. Studio Libeskind's "Celestial" concept wraps the towers in rotating, ascending façade patterns that give each building a distinct silhouette against the Gangnam skyline, while a 15,000-square-metre central plaza knits the complex into the surrounding neighbourhood. Residents are served by an unusually generous community program — roughly 13.2 square metres of shared amenity per household — headlined by a three-storey sky community and observation lounge near the top of the towers. Terraced green roofs and building-integrated photovoltaic panels carry the sustainability agenda through the massing, and 2.82-metre apartment ceiling heights mark a step up from the Korean market standard.
