The Hook is a boutique, apartment-style hotel occupying the lower levels of the 16-story tower at 1221 Grundy Street in Nashville's Gulch. Its 144 extended-stay suites operate under Marriott's newer Apartments by Bonvoy brand, pairing the space and self-sufficiency of an apartment with the service and consistency of an upscale hotel — a polished alternative to short-term rentals in one of the country's busiest tourism markets. Guests share the tower's rooftop amenity level, with a pool and meeting space, and sit directly above 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail earmarked for an experiential entertainment tenant. The concept follows developer Tidal Real Estate Partners' earlier Apartments by Bonvoy property, The Ann in Savannah, Georgia.
