The Truth is a 4,400-capacity indoor music venue at 440 Chestnut Street in Wedgewood-Houston, the first ground-up Nashville room built by Live Nation and designed by the company's in-house Blueprint Studio.
Official Website440 Chestnut Street, Nashville. 4 floors. Open since October 2026.
The name comes from the Harlan Howard line that a good country song needs only three chords and the truth, and the building wears it: a brick hall behind three arched windows with the quote carved into the facade, a lyric chandelier that projects song lines over the crowd, and a letterpress Set List Studio that prints each night's running order. Inside, three levels flex between standing-room and fully seated configurations, with the two-story Vinyl Room listening lounge and Harlan's, a mezzanine whiskey bar named for Howard, looking onto the stage. The room is scaled to sit between Nashville's clubs and its arenas, and Live Nation projects it will support more than 400 jobs and roughly $74 million in annual economic activity. It anchors the entertainment side of AJ Capital Partners' Wedgewood Village district.
