Official WebsiteRyman Hospitality Properties' $224 million three-phase renovation and expansion of the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center marks the property's 50th anniversary in 2027. Phase 1 revitalizes the Governor's and Presidential ballrooms (133,000 sq ft) and reimagines the former Magnolia Pool Courtyard as the $40 million Magnolia District — featuring a 6,200-sq-ft event lawn, 3,000-sq-ft pavilion, and a multistory sports bar with seating for 550 plus a tasting room. Phase 2 (year-end completion) continues with modern amenities. Phase 3 introduces a 108,000 sq ft structure along Briley Parkway with premium carpeted meeting spaces. Once complete in 2027, Opryland will feature 765,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art meeting facilities — among the most expansive convention destinations in the country. Renderings by Blur Workshop.
