Hudson Yards West

Hudson Yards West is the second phase of Manhattan's Hudson Yards, a mixed-use megaproject planned on a roughly $2 billion platform decked over the active Western Rail Yards between West 30th and 33rd Streets and Eleventh and Twelfth Avenues, wrapped by the High Line on the Far West Side.

Details

West 33rd Street at Eleventh Avenue, Manhattan. 74 floors and 4000 residences. Targeting 2032. Financed with $2B in June 2025.

The story so far

Developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties with master planning by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the phase is valued at about $12 billion and calls for up to 4,000 homes, at least 625 of them permanently affordable, across multiple towers, along with roughly 2.4 million square feet of office space, a hotel, a public school and a 6.6-acre public park. The platform is financed through a PILOT structure approved by the New York City Council, which redirects the site's future tax payments rather than city operating dollars. As the western completion of the largest private real estate development in United States history, it is conceived to carry Hudson Yards' skyline of glass towers and elevated public space toward the Hudson River.
