The Róng Museum of Art is a cultural landmark taking shape in Shenzhen's Houhai district in Nanshan, China, designed by Büro Ole Scheeren for Tenova, the cultural venture of Tencent co-founder Pony Ma. Its distinctive silhouette rises as five slender, cone-shaped volumes wrapped in parametrically engineered suspended glass tubes that provide shading, natural ventilation, and rainwater collection, while the lifted body frees the ground plane as a covered public plaza. Dedicated to the visual culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, the museum pairs galleries with a public art library, education spaces, a lecture hall, and dining, anchoring the wider Houhai Hybrid Campus.
