Designed by Büro Ole Scheeren for Tenova Future, the Róng Museum of Art rises in Shenzhen's Nanshan District as a composition of floating, cavernous gallery volumes wrapped in shimmering, softly reflective facades. Dedicated to the visual and digital culture of the 20th and 21st centuries — art, design, architecture and film — it serves as the cultural heart of the Houhai Hybrid Campus, a larger mixed-use development of curvilinear towers linked by elevated promenades around a central oasis. Deep, stacked interior halls and a sculpted public realm are conceived to draw the city inside, positioning the museum as a landmark where technology and contemporary culture meet.
