Vanderbilt University West Palm Beach

Vanderbilt University's West Palm Beach campus brings a graduate-level extension of the Nashville university to Florida, rising along South Tamarind Avenue in the Government Hill area of downtown West Palm Beach. Designed by Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects, the roughly 300,000-square-foot campus centers on an Academic and Innovation Building and an Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Building, organized around sun-filled classrooms, green space and a rooftop terrace. Programs focus on business, engineering, data science and artificial intelligence, and the campus is planned to eventually serve roughly 1,000 graduate students and more than 100 faculty. The project anchors West Palm Beach's push to become a hub for higher education and finance-adjacent talent, assembled from land donated by Palm Beach County, the City of West Palm Beach and developer Jeff Greene.
