Radiant

Radiant rises 19 stories on the corner of Queens Plaza North and 24th Street in Long Island City, holding 117 condominium residences across roughly 115,000 square feet, with about 2,738 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor and cellar. ODA New York shaped the building as a stack of flowing cubic volumes, with setbacks, cantilevers and pocketed cutouts carved out for private terraces, all wrapped in ridged metal cladding. Paris Forino designed the interiors and the amenity spaces, which run from a double-height fitness center and an indoor basketball court to a Finnish sauna, a screening room, a media room, a pet spa, a children's playroom, coworking space and a top-floor lounge with a chef's kitchen. A rooftop terrace with grilling stations looks across the East River toward Manhattan and the Queensboro Bridge. New Empire Corporation developed the building.
