Sweetbird North

Sweetbird North is an eight-story, roughly 120,500-square-foot landmark office and retail building on the western edge of the Miami Design District. The building is conceived as a series of layered "veiled" volumes that shift between transparency and opacity, wrapped in a finely calibrated mesh facade that filters light while revealing glimpses of interior activity and planted terraces. About 22,500 square feet of retail activates the ground and second floors at street level, while more than 92,000 square feet of flexible, high-end office space spans floors three through eight. Curved terraces and integrated planting introduce greenery, permeability and calm across the upper levels, creating an elevated workplace destination at the intersection of commerce and culture.
