Representing a more than $350 million investment by Aspen Hospitality with Tishman Speyer and The Georgetown Company, the conversion turns former office floors of the landmark tower into an intimate Midtown retreat. Rockwell Group shapes the public spaces and Pierre & Co. the guestrooms, drawing on the complex's Art Deco heritage through limestone, marble, bronze and warm woods. A seventh-floor arrival leads to an all-day dining venue, a lobby bar and a wine lounge carrying The Little Nell's celebrated cellar program, with a spa and fitness floor above and a signature fine-dining restaurant overlooking Rockefeller Center. It is the flagship New York property of Nell Hotels, the new luxury brand rooted in the legacy of The Little Nell in Aspen.
